From Recruiter to Photographer

Before becoming a Photographer, I was the Director of Talent Acquisition for a mid-size marketing company. I spent many years living on LinkedIn and reviewing candidate profiles.

If you’re in the market for a new job, a great professional headshot absolutely helps. Recruiters and Hiring Managers make snap judgements based on profile photos alone, and I understand the psychology (and sadly, the unconscious biases) behind headshots — what your smile and positioning say about you, for example.

It’s also smart to have a current headshot on hand for reasons beyond job hunting, but we don’t need to get into that. I’m here to help if you need a great photo — not here to convince you if you don’t.

With expertise in both fields, I’ll guide you to ensure that your headshot is “on-brand” and flattering. I also recognize that being photographed 1:1 is an inherently awkward experience for many, and I strive to change that.
